This book was fabulously fun. Is this chick-lit? I guess I'd say chick-lit, romance-lite, adventure! This book was cheesy, wonderfully so. Like, the really yummy, superprocessed nacho cheese. It was kinda over the top, and I loved it. I actually laughed out loud and clapped in happiness several times while reading this. Yeah, seriously. SADLY I looked at the author's other books, and they appear to be very typical chick-lit.

I am a bit biased because I performed in this play. If I was going to be objective, I probably would have given this only two stars. Neil Simon was the writer for the Odd Couple, but here the jokes fall flat and his attempt at relationships-drama is unconvincing.

Yeah! I finished it! I had a goal to complete this book before the end of the year and I did it. On the whole, I enjoyed this book. Some chapters were really interesting, like the one on disease, the Maya, and Amazon. The chapter on Maize was more tedious. He really does make some facinating points and arguments. It was interesting to read it with the personal beliefs I have of the Americas before the coming of Columbus. I would recommend this book, but read something else at the same time.

This was a decent book. There was a lot of mood, of which I'm a big fan. The characters all had the potential to be very interesting, but unfortuately, they weren't developed. That's not to say you don't spend a lot of time with them, or find out anything about them, it's just that you don't really give a damn. The book is written by a magazine journalist who ends up living on and off in Savanah, GA for eight years to investigate and chronicle a murder and it's trials. This book is more or less one long magazine article, detailng the events, and lives, but never really giving you sympathy for any of the characters. It does a fine job of keeping the mystery of whether Jim Williams really did the deed a secret, but in comparison to In Cold Blood by Truman Capote (which I'm reading currently) this is not worth the effort.

This book is by far one of the best in the series yet. In this book Jenna, still impacted by the events in Perta, is struggling with Simon and her feelings for him. Simon, as always, acts oblivious to her, since he is a man of the cloth. This book tells the tale of the search for the anything but submisive board of flames. One good thing that this book also does is that it introduces a few new characters, and clears that fog on some shady areas.
Simple words to live by without the psycho-babble.
As seen on Lost!
