Okay so when I first saw this at my local library I said "hey what the heck? Let's see if this is any good!" and I rented it and came home hoping for something cute and fun to read. Well this book turned out to pretty darn good! The Princess of the midnight ball is about the authors take on the story of the twelve dancing princesses. I was a little worried when I saw some of the reviews on my good o'l goodreads app, but when I started reading I was just as charmed by the hero as the princesses in distress. The hero of the story is a soldier named Galen who has seen more battle in his 18 years than most see in there whole life. But despite the fact that he was raised by men who spit, curse, and gamble he turned out to be a gentleman who respected everyone, was patent, and kind. Can I just say that when i was little and read the story by the brothers Grimm I rather hated the Soldier! I mean he just marches in to the castle and tattle tales on the princesses to there dad! What a spoil sport right? And then the poor oldest sister is forced to marry him! I always thought that he was evil and a meanie for ruining the princesses fun! Well this book made me love him to pieces and his character has ruined men for me forever! :D Also another reason I loved this book Is that it is very vivid with out being specific. the way she writes brings out your creativity to make the detail of the room without writing much detail at all. The only problems I had were confusion of princesses (which is going to happen when you have twelve of them! Haha) and sometimes things were odd and didn't make sense to me. But the characters seemed well developed and fun and they each had there own little quirks and antics and may I say poppy is adorable! I now wish that I was princess rose, and wore pretty dresses! I am going to be reading more books by Jessica Day George! Hoped you enjoyed this review! Feel free to comment or ask questions!

Bộ Kỹ Năng Cho Trẻ Từ 1-6 Tuổi - Tránh Xa Người Lạ Thư viện Sách hướng dẫn

“Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff”, the latest mystery from South Florida novelist, songwriter, musician and advertising executive Don Bruns, is a rollicking up and down tale from start to finish. Two school buddies, Skip Moore and James Lessor, have combined their talent for bumbling to form a brand new detective agency, More or Less Investigations. Think of Tom and Dick Smothers running “Mom Always Liked You Best” investigations instead of pursuing a television career and you get the general idea. Skip tells the story and takes us all along for the ride. With the ink barely dry on their P.I. licenses, the hapless pair accept a job trying to uncover who is sabotaging a local carnival, the Moe Show. The carnival “staff” is, to put it mildly, a bunch of hard-drinking misfits who delight in doing whatever they can to throw Skip and James off track. Which is pretty easy to do. Skip, the brighter of the two, spends much of his time saving James from the folly of his many, ill-advised business and personal decisions. But hey, they’re amigos, right? There’s also a death-trap of a ride called the Dragon Tail, whose description reminded me once again of why you won’t find me at a carnival very often. Like never. Amazingly enough, the pair do manage to crack the case before they both get put out of business. Permanently. Lots of fun, especially with a bucket of popcorn or a corn dog to snack on while you read! Reviewed by: Susan Santangelo, Author of “Retirement Can Be Murder” for Suspense Magazine
