i am not really sure about this book. i didn't really like it until i was towards the end, but it left me dissatisfied. i did not like the main character, but i liked the sex stuff and the backstabbing. But mostly i was irritated. i read in the notes that she was writing a sequel, and i would read it, i suppose i am a glutton for punishment.

Before I read this book, I had only seen/heard interviews with Allegra Kent and always thought she sounded like a bit of a flake. However, this book gave me a new found respect for her. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this book.

I really enjoyed reading these short stories. I don't know the culture in Egypt, but it seemed to show the reality of the Arab culture, some of which is disturbing. But I still enjoyed it!

A very intriguing novel, I loved the concept behind this book and how the author worked in Lysistrata so perfectly. I really liked Willa and Ruth, two of the main characters whose thoughts are in within differing chapters of the novel. I was really glad the novel ended well and with no cliff hangers!

Atwood provides a suspenseful story of a Toronto servant. Fascinating characters, vivid imagery, and a main character who you're never quite sure about make it an intriguing read. Captivating and engaging, but long, so make sure you have the time and interest.
If you haven't spent a slew of hours online and picking up productivity tips over the past couple of years, then this is your idea introduction to the GTD model. However, if you've already built up a GTD model from bits and pieces picked up here and there, listening to it all gain will seem insanely tedious. So, with that in mind, consider the stars being given for somebody who is a blank slate on the GTD mentality.
One of the books in highschool that changed the way I thought, changed what I wanted to do with my life. For years, I took a copy of this book with me when ever I went on a long trip. I remember that the rest of my class hated Thoreau while I wanted to be him.

Yes, Therese. I stole your book. I liked this book a lot better in high school than I did as an adult, which I find intriguing.
