I really didn't know what to expect when I started reading this book, which was very kindly lent to me by a friend, but I was quickly hooked! The only way to describe this story is that it is one of complete randomness. You just have to sort of go with it and try not to think about the plausibility of it. I thoroughly enjoyed the quirkiness of it and plan to search out other books by this author to see if they are as good.

Another great "Bug Man" book. There is more to Nick than we think, he is actually starting pupate and turning into something more like our species. The end was difficult, I would rather of not had to choose. I can hardly wait for the next book to come out.

Not quite as good as "Bloodsucking Fiends", but Moore is always funny.

I loved the honesty in this book. Being a huge Brian Jones fan as I am, I was over the moon that Mr. Wyman told it striaght forward about Brian and how he was delt a shady hand by the other stones. The cool thing is, that Mr. Wyman wasn't afraid to include Brian Jones faults also. An honest and complete account of the stones life as a group. Worth the read if you are a Stones fan. You will not be dissappointed!!

Wonderful Mormon essays. I'm rereading this in September 2011 as devotional nighttime reading with my husband. It definitely warrants a second look.

Archie, a 14 years old girl who both her parent die and was raise by her grandparents. One day her grandfather died and she blamed herself as the cause of his grandfather's death. Before his grandfather die, he said she was a saint. She did not understand what he meant at first so she follow a girl named Claire in a journey. She believed that Claire is the god of saint, so they had this journey. Even though, i read this book. I felt that it got me lost in some pages which made it confusing at first. But i think this is well written in ways, that make other reader have a full understanding of the book.
Fun escape reading. Only when Shawn Gallagher mixes his music with magic is he able to see how much tomboy Brenna O'Toole cares about him.
This was an amazing book- she is not a great writer but her experience is so harrowing and powerful- it really haunts you. And what a beautiful spirit she has- I don't know that I could forgive and be as loving as she is (I'm almost certain I couldn't)

The pace was a little slow sometimes, however the book keep my interest until the end even when some clues where obvious, however the full text was good to keep wondering who will be the suspect.

I am currently reading this book by Harvard psychologist Daniel Gilbert. Although it's non-fiction, Gilbert's style is easy to read and he is actually quite funny. Gilbert does a good job at taking a stab at why we believe certain events will shape our future happiness -- describing both physiological and evolutionary reasons, as well as cultural contraints that shape our expectations. But, in the end I feel that much of his theories are based on some unrealistic assumptions. This may look like a self-help book from the cover, but it is not and should not be read in that context; if anything, it's simply an interesting and amusing take on the human psyche.
