I skimmed the last half of this one, and I liked Lawrence better than Phillip.

A fantastic fantasy travelogue, with witty, biting political satire throughout (this is Swift, after all). Its histerical, even though the entire time you know you're missing 50% of the jokes. Unless you know alot more about arcaic british politics than I do.

Like the star rating system implies, it was okay. I thought it was an intriguing premise and had some really interesting moments. The writing was not great. I felt like I had to re-read paragraphs and even pages to follow along with her train of thought. And so much of this book should have been edited out, like all the really long dinner scenes describing the wines and the specific tastes of things. One scene is diverting, more are just obnoxious! The romance was also built up in such a strange and slightly dissatisfying manner. The historical bits were the best part. I will probably read the sequels just because I want to know what happens, but I hope the author is one of those whose writing improves with her experience.

So, I think it took me over six weeks to read this book. But I guess that gave it time to really sink in. Can't say it's fun to live in the mind of a deluded psychopath, but it was... interesting. I'd say enlightening, but the man's plain crazy, no matter how utterly brilliant. The only way I could be enlightened is if he had something valuable to teach about life - but then, I guess he kind of did. How many of us can say that we've been a little out of our mind when falling in love? With that, I can relate, my dear Mr. Humbert. Beautiful words to paint such a strange story. Really quite amazing.

This book ties up some loose ends from the Sally Lockhart trilogy, but it is primarily an adventure tale set in a fictional tiny kingdom caught up in the empire-building of Germany and Austria before WWI. The lesson, as in the entire Sally Lockhart series, is that good doesn't always triumph over evil but that good people can act courageously and honorably. And we find out what happened to Adelaide from "Ruby in the Smoke."

This is an absolutely wonderful book! Most of it applies not only to Asperger Syndrome, but to Autism in general. It is a great, easy-to-read primer for kids and anyone not so familar with Autism. It highlights some of the quirks that people with Autism can have, as well as their strengths. And it points out that we are all different, each in our own way. Plus, the pictures of the cats are truly delightful! I highly recommend it!!

THUMBS UP AGAIN TO MR. CHRIS BRADFORD for an awesome job! . It look a long time for me to make up my mind whether to give this book a five or four stars. >< 5 stars means it was really amazing, I really did like it, however, in comparison to book three and this book, I liked book this book better. So, I have to give it 4 stars (really liked it) xD I just based it on the impact between book 3 and this book. Nevertheless, the forth book is still awesome. (: So, let's start with the review. :D - As always, the action is there. Always. And every single time, it just adds up. There's always something new and that's what I like about this series. (: - Definitly different. I'm not going to tell you why, but this book is way unique than the first 3. And you'll love it. Especially if you like Ninja more than Samurai. (LIKE ME!) - Learn way more things. Way a lot new. - New charatcers. Which are awesome and cool. Another thing why I lvoe this series is also because of the charatcers. There's always new ones, and always having character developments. And JACK, (again) evolved in another level. xD He's really really cool. - From the very depressing book 3 (in a good way) to another depressing book 4 (in a good way) again. I know, it might sound odd, but it's how I desribed it. Jack is like a loner here, and how he copes with that sadness, is what interests me. As always. - Not so predictable as the past books. Haha! That's a great turn. - I miss AKIKO! Damn! The ending was sad. Again. Haii. I'm uber excited for the next book, now that JACK is more awesome. Yes, more. xD Wanna know how? READ THE BOOK. - The action, the drama, the suspense, the romance, the friendship, the twists, the turns, the comedy, it's all here. AWWW!
A different way to think about getting older!
