This is one of my favorite books and Heinlen's most appealing work. It's definitely worth a read whether you're into Sci-Fi or not. Heinlen's libertarian streak comes through, as usual, but it doesn't overpower the characters themselves. This isn't a political book, it's a fantastic story that gives the reader plenty to think about.

I wasn't around for much of the '70s, but I remember there being a lot of weird, dopey crafts, and everybody's mom was excited to try making them. This very fun book of autobiographical cartoons captures this type of atmosphere very well. It's nice to read about a childhood that was relatively pleasant, for a change.

This was a very well-written biography, one that didn't get stale with its own subject, George Washington. The content was interesting and Joseph Ellis did a great job presenting everything. The book make me think quite a bit about our country's founding, the events that led up to it, and the politics that surrounded our nation's beginning. I must admit I probably had higher expectations from our "Founding Fathers," and ended up being very disappointed that it seems as though nasty politics has been with us since the beginning of our government's formation.

I don't know what to say about this book. I liked it, certainly, and it was nice to read something that wasn't quite the same as Microserfs or JPod (aka, Microserfs 2). I enjoyed the main character, Liz, and the story itself. It just seemed that Coupland was trying a bit too hard to make a point about loneliness. I think it's best summed up by a moment where the main character gives her email address as "[email protected]" even adding, "like the Beatles song." Ok, ok, we get it. "All the lonely people." It seems like the tie between the book's character and the book's title would have been better left unsaid and a little more subtle.

This is my go-to cookbook. Sensible recipes, not too difficult, usually have the ingredients in my pantry (but have to go out and buy the produce). I guess I just like the flavors of the dishes in this book.

Kasian banget.. :( apalagi sahabat vampir nya Lord Akeldama saat itu hilang entah kemana. Akhirnya Alexia di temani dengan Madame LeFoux dan sekretaris pribadinya Floote pergi ke Itali untuk meneliti kenapa Alexia bisa hamil karena werewolf itu tidak bisa punya keturunan. seruuuu...

LOVED this book! My 9 year old daughter and 7 year old son also loved it and always wanted me to "Read more!" when I finished a chapter. A good sign.
