I love this author and really wish more of his stuff was published in this country. He's insanely original and funny, and totally inspiring.

Pretty good, but "A Home at the End of the World" was better.

Hot sex, nasty people, werewolves, throw in some Gypsies (Irish travelers to be more exact). Who's doing the killing and creating more werewolves? Getting more formula with each book. Lots of red herrings in this one though.

This is probably my favorite one out of the whole series. LOVED IT. Can't wait for the 5th one to round off the series!

I totally blame Where She Went. I read it first and found it a great read and now, after I've read If I Stay, I'm all like, That was it? Maybe it was because I already knew three-fourths of the whole story, which can go as either an insult or compliment to Gayle Forman, being that she has written the most important parts of her two-part series on the second book, and this book served only as a ~backgrounder as to the specifics of what happened to Mia, how she lost her family, how she met Adam, how they fell in love, what happened to everyone - including her - when she was in that coma. I also understand now why the cover blurb says "Will appeal to Twilight fans" because the writing style is somehow along the same waters, simple, descriptive, swoon-inducing. But I still commend Forman for experimenting with the idea of death in young adult fic. (The last most memorable YA novel about death I've read is, I think, The Lovely Bones?)

I absolutely HATED physics in high school. Which therefore meant I was in dire need of extra credit so I read this book to do a report on. Surprisingly, despite my hatred of physics, I really enjoyed reading this book. It didn't help me like the subject matter anymore, but for a brief period of time I did enjoy what I was doing in the class.
Wow! That's all I can really say. Well, let me try to say more. This book is absolutely illuminating. It speaks to me because I have been feeling like this for a long time, but was unsure of the foundations of my feelings. Sam Harris helps me put a direction to my thoughts. He also proves that religion, or faith, is the main problem behind all of the political turmoil that takes place in the world.
