Compared to the previous League works, this was at times way overdone. While a lot of readers seem to lavish Moore with praise, in a way, this was reminiscent of the creative extension assignment I used to give my high school students when we read 1984 in class; that often had mixed results. It reminded me due to the various pastiches, collages, and various formats Moore employed, and all that had mixed results for my reading experience. Very well developed, yet at times it is clear Moore is going over the edge, so to say. I did an initial reading, and it is clear I will go back again and read it more closely. So in that sense, in that it lends itself to multiple readings, this is a very good work. It does help to have read the other two, and if you have done some other literary reading, it helps as well. In a way, this is very much like reading Watchmen. However, I think that, unlike Watchmen, Moore may have been trying a bit too hard with this one. The whole 3D thing at the end, while neat, did seem a bit excessive. It was the excess that made me give the three stars; I liked it. That's good enough. And I will still look forward to the next volume.

For anyone who enjoys sci-fi set in the T2 universe this trilogy is a good read. This book talks about how skynet becomes self-aware, and the quest of the other 2 infiltrators from the first book, "Infiltrator" are on a quest to insure that this does happen, by any means necessary. It's definitely a good read as it talks about some of John Connors background from living in South America during his travels with his mother. I'm normally not a S.M. Sterling fan, but this book as well as the others in the trilogy were quite well written. Definitely worth the read.
Not a favorite. Pretty depressing.

A better title for this book might have been "Food fight! : a book about the history of lunch in America and two unrelated chapters about war rationing."
An excellent Discworld book. Not amazing. By no means bad.

I was expecting more from this? I never quite clicked with Fat Charlie or his issues, and Spider seemed to lose something by the end of the book. He was more likeable, I guess, but less interesting? The writing was a bit awkward in places -- mostly lengthy sentences that I had to reread to get the meaning of, which broke the flow. But I loved Daisy's song ("Evildoers beware!") and Daisy herself and lines like "Mermaids sigh better than anyone" which just seem so RIGHT and unquestionable even though they're things I've never even thought about before. Overall I found the story entertaining, and I was reluctant to put the book down each night to go to sleep, so it gets four stars.

LOVED THIS BOOK!
I read this book and truly enjoyed it. Its not a traditional romance. I love how the author has taken a classic and brought it into the 20th century. Reading this book made we go back and read the "classic" and appreciate and understand the writing. I can't wait until I can read her next book "Catherine" based on another classic title.
