Lots of other stuff is in there, too. I was fortunate to meet Dr. Taylor some years back when he spoke at a homeschooling conference. He is as kind and courtly in person as the way he writes in Poetic Knowledge.

I started this book not expecting much but being spurred on by a review by Maggie Steifvater who is one of my favourite authors. I see a lot of proofs in the Supernatural YA category, but this one was a new and very clever addition to the genre! The love story is present but isn't overpowering. The characters are genuine and easy to believe and the plot keeps you guessing. A must read!

Jack está escrito lo mejor de todo: encontré la mayoría de los otros personajes de madera. Pero Donoghue ha hecho un trabajo INCREÍBLE escribiendo desde el punto de vista de un niño de cinco años y el suspenso de la noche de la fuga me hizo taparme los ojos (¡lo cual era molesto ya que estaba leyendo y no veía una película jaja! ) y exclamando en voz alta. Solo desearía que el resto de la historia estuviera a la altura de la promesa del primer tercio del libro.
