A great summer vacation book, fun and adventurous. I don't know that I will read any more books from this series as book 2 was already starting to feel formulaic. It is hard to resist talking dragons and adventures on the high seas.

I liked this book well enough - it took me a long time to get through it because I kept picking up other books in the middle - but it didn't grab me enough to say much more than that. The title pretty much sums up the plot of the novel. It's a cute slice of life that I only know from watching Big Love.

I don't read a lot of chick-lit but sometimes it cheers me up. Being a recovering shopaholic ;-) I thought this would help. Focussing on three main characters with completely different 'baggage', they meet up and work together as secret shoppers. Their friendship develops into a mutual 'self-preservation' society and they manage to rectify the wrongs they have been dealt. Yaaay - a happy ending!!

3rd book in the series. provides an excellent perspective on contemporary southern africa (a quick mystery fiction read though). it's a very popular series, and i would highly recommend one or two. after that, they tend to get repetitive and boring.
