I read this after the scandal and have to say - I wouldn't have cared either way if he did make up part of the plot--i thought it was just plain boring.

Putnam must've had a flotilla of graduate students under his command to compile all of the statistics between these covers. Rather than stick to anecdotes about those elusive Good Old Days, I admire that he attempted and succeeded in providing measurable, reproducible results drawn from dozens of sectors of American society to lend credence to his hypothesis: Our communities are unravelling. He's the first to admit that corelations shouldn't be mistaken for causation, but the mountain of data he offers up fit the data model he expected.... Caveat: Unless you enjoy wading through chapter after chapter of footnotes and external references, don't expect this to be a page-turner. It's more informative than enjoyable. I'd be interested to see how/if the data has changed since this was published 7 years ago.

Christopher "Ludacris" Bridges has accomplished much in life. He continues to progress with expanding his career.
Story begins in 1750 and ends in 1986 in a made up town in Mass. “The Red Garden” consists of 14 chapters, each an independent short story, connected by the common ancestry of the characters who settled the town in 1750. There was a lot of magical realism (the garden bleeds red from all the tragedies over the centuries) which I don’t usually care for but this book was just so well written I didn’t feel like I was reading gimmicks just a great storytelling.
I have read all of the books about Reverend Clare and Chief Van Alstyne. Each one gets better and better. She has just returned from a year in Iraq. The author does an amazing job of pointing out the difficulties that Clare and other returning veterans face. At last, there is a wedding plus the future looks bright for the happy couple.

The author can't seem to make up his mind in this book, and you can still feel like it's a typicall politicians writting it.

this book is amazing! Entertaining and instructive. Learn the sky with that book.
This is the fourth Rachel Hauck book I've read and my favorite so far! The dialogue was fun, the characters were compelling and the love of Jesus was on every page. Keep writing, Rachel!
