Very well written teen book. I am intrigued where the story is going. The audio edition is wonderful, the reader really grabs your attention.

Didn't know anything about this book, but it was a book club pick. I'm glad it was. The first half of this book was hilarious - my fellow train commuters at this point must have thought I was crazy, shaking with silent laughter - I'm just glad I didn't snort. The second half of the book turned serious, confronting and at times raw. I'm not sure if I really enjoyed the second half and I found at times the story turned to be one dimentional and then switched to be all around the "we/us" again. The lesson that the one dimention could have conveyed never was and that disappointed me. The last chapter wrapped some bits up nicely - but them the question of Joe is stil burning in my mind and annoying me. I hate endings that tie up too nicely and also those which leave you with too many questions, and unless the author hadn't pointed it out, I probably wouldn't have given Joe a second thought. Read it.

Getting into this one really slowly...catching a couple of pages here and another three there is not the way I like to start a book. I never found the slow middle section other reviewers mentioned. I especially enjoyed looking at the Sudan from vantage points all around--rebel, mercenary, missionary, aid-worker, Christian, Muslim. One viewpoint not illustrated directly was that of the government.
This beautifully illustrated science picture book explains how energy comes from the sun into all living things on earth.

If you've read all the "Wheel of Time" novels and need a new fantasy epic, this will do. Goodkind's world is simpler, but governed by the same kind of tension between good and evil. I found the morality play here a little too heavy-handed for my own taste; some folks may find it engaging.
Well done portrayal of Hemmingway's first wife. Author's style had a true connection to characters for me as reader.

Well, I dont exactly know how to write but I'm certain that I'm happy with the way Lisi Harrison ended the PC. It was actully sort of touching in away and had a great ending. I felt like the book was just dragging on and on. The middle and beginning were just dull and I only really started to get intrested in what was up with the clique in the last 60 pages or so. Over all a good book and a great way to end the PC and the series. It reminds me why I read these shallow books, because of the heartfelt messages at the end. It's not the drama or the relationship aspect of it but is like actully a book about friendship if you read all the books. I wouldnt have ended the series any other way, it was a great quick read.
