These books, uglies and pretties were both very interesting and i liked them both. They are about a futuristic city and there are a bunch of cool inventions in the story. The people in the town are uglies until they turn 16 and they get an operstion to become pretty. Tally, the Ugly in the book is almost 16. She is excited for her operation until she learns there is more than just that outside the city.

Clearly one of the best horrors-of-war novels I have ever read. Perhaps the best. Vivid prose, incredible story, characters that sucked me into the heart of the story. I felt I was crawling on my belly with bombs exploding and bullets flying over my head. And it really gave me a peak into the bond that soldiers form on the battlefield. It is an absolutely brilliant read. I really feel that this should be a must read for every high school student. .

I've been taking this series of books with me to read at work because I know if I try reading them at home I'll spend all my time on them and I won't do any of my school work. So it takes me about a month to finish each book.
