The Mad Hatter character is a lot of fun, and I love the punk angel Michael. The Setsuna-trapped-in-Alexiel's-body scenario brings up all the usual ho-hum gender "comedy," but at least there's also the concern of how Setsuna's comrades see him now (either as his previous or current incarnation), which is good for tension. Not sure I like where Kira's character is going (how much backstory/emo can one character believably have, anyway?), but it's nice to see him involved again.

Fascinating! I thought I knew everything there was to know about DMB, but this book actually taught me a few things I did not know. I do think there were some details that were left out, but overall, it was a great read. I now feel so enveloped in the world of DMB that I am desperately mourning Summer Tour. Can't wait for next year!
Steinbeck is one of my least favorite authors of all time. His books drone on without feeling and too much analyzing to them. However Of Mice and Men is an intriguingly depressing book that is heart-wrenching. Feeled with emotions of despair and isolation, this book captures you and tears you through until you are completely through with it. One of my favorites, and I don't say that about many books I am assigned to read.
I learned that life is about truth and perserverance. A perfect novel.
this book, along with First They Killed My Father, by loung ung, had a profound impact on me personally. (it is essential to read the other one first.) this two books gave shape and form and more importantly faces and names to a piece of history that i previously only given a cursory glance. these two books have hooked my heart and given me a deep love and interest in cambodia. her startling honesty and vulnerability is absolutely commendable and her story is critical for all of us to hear. i gave this book four stars only because it doesn't stand alone as well. together i would give them a five and strongly encourage anyone who has read the first to read this also. it gives a good picture of the psychological and political aftermath of atrocity which we hear about less frequently.

It's been a while since I read this book, although I consider it one of my favorites. About a dystopia where firemen create fires to burn books. Books have ideas, ideas are bad etc. The heroes in these books are always so inspiring. WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD!
Classic Nero Wolf. Good stuff.

What an eye opener. Addresses questions I've had for decades. Very compelling and believable but also poses problems.

While it has a mostly boring tone to it, it's somehow very compelling.
