Currently re-reading the series in anticipation of book 7. It is like meeting up with an old friend.

So far it's a cute book, nothing serious but I like it

A clash between classes is what drives the reader through this book. Umrigar has a simple narrative style making the book an easy read and it isn't till you finish the last page that the depth of its content hits you.

I adore this series so much. Ai gets darker here, exploring more sexual territory and really confusing things for the heroines. I just want to cuddle all of them and tell them it will be OK.

I kept seeing this book at the library and noticed it every time because Indigo was a name I always wanted to use if I had a boy. So I finally picked it up, realized it was one of a series. So I read Saffy's angel first and then read this one. It is a crazy family which you're supposed to appreciate and love, and you do, but in reality, if you knew a family like that, you would probably call child protective services. It is total chaos and neglect, but the kids manage to take care of themselves and each other. Sounds like fun. The main thing that really bothered me about this story, because there was a lot I liked about it, was when Rose's dad's reason for staying in London is revealed, no one seems to be bothered by it. In fact it's like a relief that it's finally out in the open. That is so unrealistic. Nobodies kids are going to be relieved or accepting of their dad not wanting to be part of the family. That really bothers me.

I thought the story was really interesting, and the artwork was excellent. There were times when I was distracted by the way Rorshach talked. Was annoying. Don't like leaving out words. Words good. I had seen the movie first, which kind of took some of the suspense out of the story, but I still enjoyed the journey.
My Favorite book of all time.

Okay well, that was really depressing, I have to say. It was a good book and all, but God, it took me a long time to read it because it was just so sad! Not sad in an obvious way but sad in a really thoughtful, underlying way.

This book surprised me--I didn't expect to be so totally drawn into a biblical tale. But, it was engrossing, educational and totally satisfying. It took me out of my typical "reading range" --- a good thing for a lazy reader!

I liked the idea behind this book. I just wish it weren't so boring. I didn't have feelings about any of the characters.

Bu sadece dinlemek için eğlenceliydi. Kesinlikle bir sonraki Bayan Julia'yı alacağım.
