I actually heard this book as an audio book rather than read this lengthy novel. I was rather surprised that I enjoyed it. I don't usually go for these kinds of books. It actually kept my attention so well that I listened to this book in one morning, changing the CD's one right after the other. I thought that the author kept the description of each character to a minimum, not lengthy as other authors feel the need to do but maybe it was the reader's voice whose attention kept mine in wanting to hear more? It was a good listen while making peach jam! Enjoy.

Very well put together and comprehensive overview of the mind and world of RZA and the Wu Tang cabal. Every question you could ever ask about the Wu is answered here, complete with flowcharts, diagrams, and maps. R.I.P. Dirt Schultz
I was obsessed with this book when I was younger, but I don't know if I'd enjoy it as much now. However it might just be because I've read it four times.

Good book especially if you are a motorhead, which I am not, but I managed to get through that and learn the amazing story of Burt/Bert Munro. It did somewhat drag towards the middle but picked up a finished nicely. My favorite part of the book was the adventure with the Nash.
The fang family lives art instead of creating it, and that really messes up the kids. My summary doesn't convey the complicated characters, reminiscent of John Irving's casts in "Garp" or "The Hotel New Hampshire," but while the book isn't just a 'novel of ideas,' it is more complex than many.

I read this book in High School, b/c I was interviewing the author for my HS newspaper. He went to my high school, and the movie based on his book Jumangi was about to come out. It became one of my all time favorite childhood books.

LOVE IT
Wow. That book was really good. It really made me think about what really matters. And the things that the kids made each other give up... was really creepy near the end. But it was a really good book.
This was a fun book, clever in an Encyclopedia Jones kind of way. My son read it years ago in middle school, and since I'm always trying to find something to recommend to my daughter and my students, I thought I'd give it a go.
