Genius in spots. Show-offy in spots. But well worth the journey. Lipsyte is just hilarious.

I don't know about this guy. Seems like McClellan is trying to clear his name without fessing up to his role in the whole mess. Personally, I wasn't convinced.

Good book. There are some sad sections, but the fun racing descriptions made it all worthwhile. Makes you want to see where you want to go and do it.

This book was originaly recommened by my English teacher, because i has read the assignment(Mississipi trail 1955)faster than the class. I was a little doubtful when i first started. Science fiction was never my genre. This book, though kept it within my boundries and was a very well writ novel. I think anyone who likes science fiction should read this. Since I've read this book I have also rea more of Orsen Scott Card's Ender series.
Anne Tyler is one of my favorite writers but this was probably my least favorite of her books :(

The Blue Bistro written by Elin Hilderbrand on a story on Adrienne Dealey the protagonist works at her job for six years. As the fiction starts off, “Adrienne needed a job” (Hilderbrand 1) as the first priority because she does not like working in hotels. She is being “trapped” into on place without any freedom. She needs to become “self sufficient” as the second concern about herself. Throughout the entire novel, the protagonist transition from not knowing herself and being trapped to knowing what is going on within herself. Developing a character change, through direct characterization, the author mentions characteristics on Adrienne to “already knowing” wants she wants in the end of the novel (Hilderbrand 321).

Beautiful photos and simple text about everyday life in Cuba make this book a treat to read. What a shame that this book is banned from Miami schools: http://tinyurl.com/c78toy
