I recently read this book and the simplicity of its narration touched my heart. It's a book, anyone would love reading. Read it for its simplicity and insights on life's lessons.

This is one of the best & most scary books I have ever read. You will learn more about killers & psychopaths then you want to know. My nightmares lasted for days.

Predictable and mostly boring.

I really enjoyed this book. Quoyle is a wonderful everyman hero. Being brave and stepping out of his ordinary and safe life and into a totally unknown existence is wonderful. I am curious about: Why the aunt is "the aunt" and hardly ever referred to by her name. What others thought about the house at Quoyle's point and its ultimate conclusion. The story seems to be about the past, but is it really? Is it utlimately about acknowledging the past and then letting it go in an effort to move forward instead of looking back.

The last fiction book I read. Was left underwhelmed in comparison to Angels and Demons.

A collection of overall sound advice on life presented in a very elegant manner. I am unsure if the author was channeling the spirit of Rudolf but found the book enjoyable. The cover was not worded in the best way because it mislead me into thinking it was a biography ("from the Other Side" meaning other side of the lens not in the intended meaning).

years ago, i was searching for a jeanette winterson book when a boy in a bookstore came up to me, asked what i was looking for, then took me by the arm and led me to this book, placed it in my hands, saying, "you will love this." i went back to that bookstore to thank him, only to find out he didn't even work there. _aureole_ pulled at something inside me and had me swimming in its language by the first page, which had me in tears. this book validated the way i write--knowing the rules, and then breaking them. it is sensual and dreamlike and unlike anything else i've read.

Oh this book was TONS of fun. I totally enjoyed myself despite the similarity to many other books, I was still captivated by the characters. Looking forward to more books by this author!
