This to me was just ok. I'm not a big fan of the short story or novella. I like to really dig into things. There wasn't really any background on any of the important characters. Overall, I just thought it was flat.

I was expecting more from this book after all the hype but I was disappointed. It was easy enough to read, but I didn't like either of the characters, particularly Dex and so had no interest in what happened to them. In a book with such a simple plot, feeling a connection with the characters is crucial. I kept expecting something interesting to happen, but it never really did and I found the ending very unsatisfying. It could make a good film with the right actors though.
