Another one of my all-time favorites. I'm grateful for college classes if for no other reason than that I am forced to finish books I would never have gotten through otherwise. It was hard to get into because so many names are the same, but the story continues to grow in beauty all the way to the end.

This is our book group selection. I confess I would not read it otherwise! O.K. - I've finished it. The only person I liked in the book was "Edwin"! The writing was O.K. The ending through me for a loop. I detested the personal ethics...or lack thereof....of FLW and his Mame! I think the author tried hard to infuse the celebrated couple with an aura of respectable romantic allure.....but I just thought they were selfish, short-sigted, egotistical people.

A Million Suns As usual once I opened the book that I have now, I just got sucked into it like a black hole, like how everything is just sucked inside into the booked, and when I finished reading it, I guess I felt like one of they cryo boxes just frozen and stuck there, looking at the book. Summary: Elder is now the Eldest, the one who rules Godspeed the ship where the population is 2,298. Then as Phydus the drug induced in there water is finally taken out by Elder's rule, everyone then suddenly has a choice. Amy on the other hand, is on the verge of finding a mysterious clue of Orion, one of the bad guys from Across the Universe. One that might save the ship from dying, one that might save the population of Godspeed. As they go on there mysterious journey together, there love just gets stronger and stronger on the way, and as that progresses they uncover secrets, lies, and much more mystery inside and outside of Godspeed. I'm so excited to read the next book hope it comes out soon, because I can't help and wait much longer already... :(
