this book is highly offensive, kinda like a soap opera at times and goes against all my feminist ideals. but i just had to finish it. en-ter-tain-ing.

It was ok but I didn't like it nearly as much as Salt or Cod. I was hoping for it to be like Gangs of New York as told through the eyes of oysters. I enjoyed the beginning sections on old Dutch New York but then it seemed to get really repetitious in the 17 and 18th centuries. I felt like I was reading the same chapter over and over. The all of the sudden in the last chapter everything was polluted and it was over.

By Far the best C.S. Lewis book ever written. I tell everyone I know to read this book. This book, more than any others, shows the human struggle and complexity belief in an unseen God provides. I love the way Lewis weaves together the small signs given throughout the story to provide just enough room to doubt. Unlike his other books, Till We Have Faces is not obvious and the reader finds themselves evaluating their own inner voices when things turn out to not be what they seem.

I'm not sure why, but I liked this one much better than the first Sergio book.
MUCH better story than the DaVinci Code.

I love the Harry Potter series! So, I am re-reading these books because I am trying to get ready for the 7th book.

Another exciting adventure for wizard-in-training Harry Potter during his 2nd year at Hogwarts. This is a fun read, particularly in the passages that include the hilariously egotistical (and inept) Professor Gilderoy Lockhart. Most importantly, it deepens the mythology of the series with the titular Chamber of Secrets, the "Heir of Slytherin" and the mysterious Tom Riddle. Best line in the book, from Mr. Weasley: "Never trust anything that can think for itself if you can't see where it keeps its brain."
