I truly loved The Help. I felt like I got to be friends with the characters because I got such a deep look into their lives. The ONLY reason I didn't give this 5 stars is that I felt it dragged and little in the middle and then the end was really rushed and thrown together because the author wasn't quite sure what to do next, it left me wanting more.

I enjoyed this book. The author's witty sarcasm is entertaining. Throughout the book you constantly rethink that classic hypothetical about being marooned on a tropical island, but in the end you question life in America. Very easy read.

This book reminded me a lot of Ender's Game but it also has a character all of its own because of all the 80's references and trivia. For any one born between 1968 and 1975 this book is one of the most entertaining reads in a long time. No wonder the book was picked up for a movie version even before it was published.

Was surprised by how much I enjoyed this book at first, but then I was surprised at how aimless it became for me towards the end. Then the end itself was quite unsatisfying for me. So, liked it; didn't love it.

I really liked the suspense and love in this story. She writes love scenes but its nothinglike some of the others that REALLY get into it. She is moderate and very PG 18 rated if that were a true word. Id rather have my children come across one of her books than some of the others I've read. She kept me in suspense for a long time and got you to enjoy each character. I truly enjoyed her books and hope to read everything she has to offer. She is one of my favorites!

Le di cuatro estrellas porque está más cerca de un cuatro que un tres, pero aún no es un cuatro, para mí. Está bien diseñado y fue un cambio de página, y lo leí rápidamente, pero nunca pude pasar por completo la premisa de que los "poderes fácticos" decidieron que el amor es la raíz de todos los problemas del mundo, y así lo decidí " cúralo.
