I haven't been this disappointed in a book in a long while. I have always enjoyed Robinson's Inspector Banks series but this one made me wonder why I ever liked or sympathized w/ the hero. I got tired of hearing what music he was listening to and even more weary of the spy thriller plot Finished as fast as possible just so I could list it on Amazon used.

I loved this book. It is so fun to read. It just flows out your mouth and you find yourself smiling at the end. I think kids would really enjoy it too. It contains lots of really great literary elements such as rhyme, onomatopoeia, and alliteration. It also is a great book to teach expression and fluency to students.

i love this book because i think a group of powerful women are gathered to gether to show that they want to read and explore things in it`s real context however they know that they are doing it agianst islamic rules and district laws.they are trying to push the boundries and go further to concieve more and more about how reading a novel or a literary book can be effective on people on it`s real border.inspite of so many restrictions they are trying to read and discuss realy openly due to the fact that sansuring the literary work is forbidden in their discussion.they fight with all fears and shame to reveal their feelings and their desires. it gives me such bravity to talk about what i realy understand about a peice of literary writing.to be couragous to bring things in to my tongue which may be real but unaccepted in this world. as it says in this book that" this world is the world of arbitrariness".

The writing is good, but the story jumps back and forth all over the place in a less than effective way. I found it distractingly preachy as well. By the end I was just reading to finish the book, not because I really cared much about the outcome.
