Loved this book! I don't like how stupid Nora is and jumps to such stupid conclusions but I like Patch although in my mind he looks less like a druggie. but I can't wait for the next one!

I love the verse, but God, I hated that ending. Just, I thought everything was going to be okay and i got all hopeful and then i was crushed. It kind of ruined the book for me. Usually, i don't even care if a book has a happy, hopeful ending or not, but this one hit a chord with me and hit it hard. I will say that i loved the way it was written though, which is why it gets the stars.

First i have to say - I adore the cover of this book! The coverart is just amazing. Wow. The book was pretty amazing too. I really enjoyed reading it! Mostly because I liked the charakters. I love Clarity, and Periwinkle (not only because of their super-awesome, super-cute names), they were great charakters. I've always wanted a big brother, and I thoght Perry was so cool and sweet! Despite his flaws. Haha! Also i liked all the other charakters. The plot was good too. I guess I could say it's like a mysterie novel with a supernatural twist to it. I'm usually not the biggest fan of mysterie-novels but I think "Clarity" may have changed my mind - it was fun to read a YA mysterie-novel! Possibly because Clary and her familys abillities (personally i belive in mediums, and psychics to a certain degree) made it a lot more interessting! So, yeah, I liked this book a lot. It wasn't genious though. I would have loved for the mysterious parts to be a little bit more complicated, and the ending to be a bit more surprising. When there's a mysterie you want it to be really surprising, and a lot of action and twist and turnes. Right? There were enough going on to keep it iteresting all the time, but I think it could have been even better. But I'm not complaining, it did come together nicely, and I would definitly definitly like to read more about Clarity (she's awesome!). A great debut-novel from Kim harrington, thats for sure! Overall a great read! It could have been better, but I definitly recommend it to everybody who enjoy YA books. Mysterious, great charakters, and a fun love-triangle. Fans of "The body finder" have to pick this one up! I actually liked it a bit more than "the body finder". So, yeah - READ IT :)

i would be extremely interested to know what others think of this book. we read it for a class and discussed the aspects of violence inherent in desire and in language. and in departure from a particular norm. we talked about the purpose of fragmenting a subject so completely as to render it beyond human, beyond singular, beyond what can be understood. it is a 3 hour read if you just plow. but it is pretty intense. i wasn't sure if i like it or not, but it felt pretty powerful. and strange. so if you are a lesbian, let me know what you think about "the lesbian body."
