** spoiler alert ** Hands down, the worst of the twilight books. Now, If you are a twi-hard, skip over this comment because you might possibly want to track down my ip address and hack my face off. Just saying. This might be brutal. Okay, here we go.... When I first read twilight...I was hooked. I read the first 3 books in...3 days. It was so bad I skipped a school dance and just about read in ALL my classes. Needless to say, any quiz/test I took during that period received around a C or D. I got barely any homework done. I admit, it was sad. After the fourth day (meaning breaking dawn), I was done. Just like that. Then, about a month later, I couldn't handle it anymore and I started to reread Breaking Dawn. And as I sat in the car, rereading the story I had once loved, I actually LOOKED at the writing and grammar and storyline and facts. I then thought, "Oh, my God....this...this...this is SHIT." And thus ended the obsession. Me being me, I reread the series just in case it was only the first book that sucked but NO. Breaking Dawn was the worst. The series should have ended with Eclipse because what happened in BD was completely irrelevant to the story. Yes,everyone wanted Bella to be turned into a vampire and live with Edward forever and etc. etc. etc. But once Victoria was dead in Eclipse, the series should have ended because there really was no point to the rest. The vampire baby was unnecessary and everything that happened after that too. When the Volturi came to confront the Cullen's, I expected some action. (Not THAT kind of action...you pervs.... =) ). Even you twi-hards have to admit. The entire 8 chapters (give or take a few)were completely pointless. Nothing important happened. I'm just saying. I would normally keep going but I think I've done enough damage. Ciao!

Interesting. I thought the end dragged a little, but otherwise good. Then again, it could have been the fact that I had five thousand other things going on while trying to finish reading.

This main character was better than the one in the Uglies series. But, definitely no Katniss.

This is one of my all-time favorite books. It's raw and honest, but cisneros has a way of describing experiences that makes you say, "Yes! I know exactly what you mean."

Books like this don't come out every day, or even every year. It's extraordinarily complex, and I'm almost surprised it got published. http://sixboxesofbooks.blogspot.com/2...

This book does an excellent job of making the experience of a war vivid. It's set in Germany at the very tail end of WWII when the country is basically falling into ruins around peoples' ears... It's written from the point of view of two young teenagers. The characterization is really good. I think it's very realistic in terms of war's impact on people, the characters all have layers and realistic motivations. I'm making it sound depressing, but it isn't really. It's sad sometimes, but sometimes it's happy and it's gripping and touching and very "human".

You gotta use those thwarts for leverage when battling an epic fish. Lift with the legs, dude.
Time travel, alternate dimensions, and parot-oxes. Good stuff, and a diving point into making all "ozziverses" canon.

No drop-off in quality from The Hunger Games to Catching Fire. I am glad I discovered these books after Suzanne Collins finished them all so that I don't have to wait for the next book. Grabbing Mockingjay tonight and will get started on it ASAP.
