I find myself rereading this book almost every year, and it only seems to get better each time. Tolkien wrote this book in a more archaic style than "The Lord of the Rings" or "The Hobbit," and to many readers, that's a sticking point from which they cannot get past. Personally, I love the style, as it adds a profundity and gravitas to the myths and legends of his marvelous world. The tales of creation and destruction, of heroes and villains, of valor and treachery, and of triumph and tragedy are masterfully interwoven into an intricate tapestry that never fails to sweep me helplessly away.

Abandon puts a whole new meaning to the words persephone and hades. this book is a beautiful twist of that greek myth where hades brings perspehone to the land of the dead and become queen of the underworld, but instead of gods (there's one god at least) our queen is human who died and escaped from the realm of the dead to be with her family. now living in florida after being expelled by her last school, she starts to discover why strange things are happening and why her necklace the Persephone Diamond always turns black. really good and can't put down kind of book. amazing!!!

I like this one so far. It's a cross between self-help and business and finance. In this case it's appropriate to judge a book by it's cover. Hill gives you strategies to literaly "think and grow rich". He talks aabout changing your pattern of thinking to produce wealth and prosperity. As for me, I don't much care about monetary success. I use it as more of a guide to get ahead in life. You can apply the Hill's methods for success to gain success to something as simple as relationship goals. Don't have to much more of an opinion about it as I am only on page 62. I'll keep reading......
