A really funny and insightful book, exposes the fabrication of some aspects of the news media very well. Doesn't put Bill O'Reilly in a good light, but then again, that's pretty hard to do.

THe cliff hanger at the end of the book wasn't quite as bad as I had been expecting. I mean, I knew going in (I read the wikipedia summary), but I was expecting myself to be banging down the door at the library (where Mockingjay is waiting for me) and sleeping on the bench outside. OK, maybe not literally... but I'm not losing sleep over it. I'll pick it up tomorrow and I can't wait to read it! Still, not losing sleep over it. I've had some wierd dreams though!

I chose to read the longest version of this book because everyone that recommended it to me told me to go with the uncut version. It took me nearly 6 months to get through it and I have to admit that I did skip through a few of the 20 page stretches of history, but I did enjoy the story. I was already familiar with it from the broadway production, but the book gave so much more to the characters and the story. The reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because it was really hard to stay motivated to keep reading it. It wasn't one of those can't-put-it-down type of books for me. But now that I've finished it, I realized that is was really good.

Skin glistening, breath hitching, pulse throbbing and mind scrabbling and that was just from the first ten pages! This action packed fantasy had me on edge and at times fanning from all the male induced heat. Blake as a male lead makes you want him and at times makes you want to punch him something fierce. Leona, in all her sarcastic glory, took the blows her reality dealt her with more calm than I would have. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and it come highly recommended. There are dragons, magician, and chaotic magic vs. Technology in this new spin and paranormal romancing. I only have one suggestion though, PUT ME IN THE NEXT BOOK AND DON'T MAKE ME DIE PLEASE AND THANK YOU! LoL. Four Divas is well deserved. Reviewed by M.N.
