A book on the Black Plague and time travel combined! What's not to like? I really enjoyed this book. It was well-researched, well-written and the themes explored were interesting and unflinching. It's my favorite of Connie Willis' that I've read so far. Parts of it get a bit tedious, and it is pretty long, but overall, it flows well and makes sense. I really enjoyed the historical accuracy as well as the raw and brutal exploration of life in medieval England through the eyes of a future time-traveler.

ceritanya ttg detektif jack grant yang ngejar serial killer yang membunuh gadis2 muda yang salah satu korbannya adalah adik jack sendiri, emma.... ternyata setelah hampir 11 tahun terjadi pembunuhan dengan modis operandi yang sama..bedanya kali ini si pembunuh menggunakan website "DON"T SAY A WORD' milik abby conroy untuk memamerkan foto2 ce2 yang udah pernah dia bunuh... dan sekarang si pembunuh mengincar abby.... so jack melindungi abby dengan cara 24 jam selalu berada di sisi abby ^^ pembunuhnya bener2 kejam...walo dari awal kira2 bisa ketebak tapi kita gak tau apa yang melatari si pembunuh ngebunuh ce2 dan orang2 di sekeliling abby... dan ternyata alasannya sepele.....yah namanya juga serial killer, biasanya kan pada sakit jiwa ;p gw suka baca buku ini...gak sampe ada adegan boboan bersama, tapi arah kesananya jelas dan pasti....(tinggal nunggu waktu yang tepat hohohohoh) cukup aman di baca para teenager yang suka YA atau adult yang suka thriller romance ^^

not as satisfying as i'd hoped. while he's an excellent writer-- with scenes that you can't pull away from-- the themes did not feel followed through on... it felt like he pulled you along with all the suspense/mystery, promising some sort of meaning-- since he opened up all these questions-- but then dropped you. i actually felt pissed off when i finished.

This new installment exceeded expectations. I love how Ms. Frost doesn't shy away from exploring the darker and more gritty side of human/vampire/ect. nature. She also doesn't shy away from forcing her characters to face tough choices and realities. At the same time there is enough real humor to balance the darker moments. "Ask me if I sparkle, and I'll kill you where you stand." Oh how I adore Bones. Another thing I like about these books is that even though there is real affection and lust between Cat and Bones, the author doesn't sacrifice plot for smut. Though don't get me wrong there are a few truly steamy scenes. Two words... candle wax, but it is definitely quality over quantity. The only potential warning that I'd give is that there are major spoilers for the two side novels. I'd only read one of them, so I was kicking myself at a few points. Overall though, I can't wait for the next installment.

Giải Bài Tập Hình Học Lớp 12 (Nâng Cao) Thư viện Sách hướng dẫn

The book had me hooked. Short chapters, at each end a cliffhanger that practically forced you to read on. The end was interesting. I read a bunch of reviews on Amazon about what other people thought about the end, some loved it, some hated it. I cant decide. Brilliant and ingenious or more of a huge let down. In any case, most entertaining, I recommend it.
