I think I expected more from this book than I got. It's a fairly straightforward story and Maguire gets a relatively comfortable flow going so that it's a quick and easy read. There were quite a few moments that felt jarring though. Where I came to abrupt stops and went, "huh? Why? Wha?" A Deus ex WTF, if you will. The most jarring of these is the ending. It felt as though he ran out of pages to end the story or just forgot to attach the last chapters to the manuscript. Overall, it's not a bad read, and I'm interested in giving Maguire another chance. But while this is definitely not the best book I've ever read, it's far from being the worst.

A beautifully written book about what could concievably be an accurate description of the future of the earth and mankind. Although depressing, this book is a page turner as it leads us down THE ROAD of strength, determination, despair and especially hope.

I AM IN LOVE! With this series. Maggie is genius at formatting words in a way to swell your heart then only to break it into tiny fratured pieces. Her writing is beautifully detailed, truly letting your imagination see, and most certainly feel, the world she has created. Forever was heartbreakingly beautiful (as was Shiver and Linger). I love Sam and Grace, they must be my favorite book couple, they are so unperfect yet so perfect together. They're complimentary, they complete one another without ruining their own individual identities. I want that so badly it hurts. Throughout the series I've always been torn about the wolves; to be one or not to be one. But seeing Grace as a wolf was just another contributing factor of why i loved them but.. seeing Sam without Grace and Grace without out Sam tears at you, their wanting is unbearable. However, them together as wolves was beautiful, their love translated so well I almost wouldn't have mind if the series ended with them together as wolves. The ending... leaves quit a bit in the dark/to your own imagination if you will. I initially was disappointed, I could probably read an entire novel on Sam and Graces day-to-day life and never be bored.. okay I am a bit upset over the ending, I want to know! But it was beautiful none the less, the last 2 lines very befitting. "Mutual, respectful, enduring love is completely attainable as long as you swear you won't settle for less." - Maggie on the realistic nature of Sam and Graces relationship. (AGREED!)

I've been looking forward to Ellora's Cave first Hardcover anthology and it was so worth the wait. This book is full of short stories/novella's from a number of authors I have read from EC and others that are new to me. Definitely now will be looking for these new authors for me to read more of. I won't go into detail of each book since Amazon has the list of books above. All genres are included in here, contemporary, romance suspense, paranormal, fantasy, historical and more. So there's a bit of everything if you like a variety to read but too a great way to try a genre you might not have read. I haven't read much of Science Fiction erotic romance but I will be looking up more of these. This is a perfect bedside book. I read a story each night before sleeping and I was able to have it last a bit longer! This is erotic romance so expect the sensuality of this genre. If you have not read erotic romance before, don't expect the sensuality of the mainstream romance. If you want to try this genre, you can check out their ebooks first to find a short book to attempt first. If you love reading this genre of erotic romance, as Ellora Cave calls it, Romantica, then this is a great anthology that's a keeper. I highly recommend this and if you don't know where to start, start from the beginning, or some of my favorites there, in no particular order, Jaci Burton, Anne Jacobs, Sahara Kelly, Cheyenne McCray, Lorie O'Clare and Jory Strong. Too remember these are not novels, they are SHORT STORIES, so they will be stories of established relationships or similar situations. If you want more of a longer and in depth read, a novella or novel is suggested. Just quick sizzling reads here and worth it.

** spoiler alert ** This was a very interesting book it kept me on the edge of my seat at times and also let me down there were so many things that I wanted each character to go thru for one I wanted Jade to grow up she just kept on messing with Annette's head a lot. the second thing I thought was that Pee-wee should have fully forgave her for her affair or divorced her in the first place instead of paying her back with his own affair and what goes around comes around because Lizzie left him for someone else that is what he deserved he found out the grass isn't greener on the other side and as for Jacob I thought She should have let Ronda get to him like she did the other guys she killed. All in all this was a pretty good book would make a great movie.

This time I was re-reading it, but I still found a lot of things that I’d forgotten about. Things that seem like common sense but you wouldn’t think about. Like, do you need life insurance? Should I get a will? Would I be better to save my money in a GIC or mutual fund….
