Like all Dostoevsky novels, this book can be tedious at times. But every few pages, one comes across commentary that make it all worthwhile. When I turned the last page, I put this book down once again blown away by this author's talent. Of course, I had to read the Cliff notes afterwards to see if there was anything I missed - and there was a whole lot. Fantastic.
Having worked for a company that makes perfumes for the past six years, I have slowly been growing from the kind of girl who enjoys a nice fragrance here and there, to an obsessive perfume hound. This book is basically my new bible, and I find myself grabbing for it every five minutes when I remember another perfume that I want to read their reviews of. It's started me on a new perfume buying spree which is both good and regrettable for my wallet. But ultimately, perfume is living art. And I love it.

Fun times, camp pranks, and a very weird bunkmate all play a role as Agnes continues to become the girl she hopes to be, and maybe... a happy camper?

I think this is the best Tempe Brennan novel yet. I just finished it this afternoon and already I can't wait for the next book.
This book was amazing. When I finshed it I want't to read it over it again. I thought to myself what will I read next because no other book could come close to that book.I loved it. Everybody should read it. It was so detailed. Any way it was a amazing book.

I've had this story for a while and decided to finally read it. I'm glad I did. Bounty is half-hobgoblin and when her flighty mother leaves her, she gets adopted by the kind Ma Fortuna. She becomes part of the big family, and when she's seventeen takes off with one of the Fortuna kids to find their own way. Since Bounty is full of ideas and mischief, she convinces Luc to steal from a hero so that he can become one. Although their adventure starts together, it doesn't take long for them to find separate paths. I really enjoyed this quirky, well-written fairy-talesque story. It was a lot of fun and Bounty turned out to be a very interesting character.
Interesting beginning to the series that parallels so many truths of Christianity. Once you start the series, you'll have to read them all.
Well i read this before in 8th grade but due to the comic unit in Art class, i wanted to read it again! Maus is a biographical graphic novel about the story of the author's father, Vladek Spiegelman, his life in Poland before WWII and his experiences in Auschwitz. This book is not ordinary book, it's a comic. The people are represented by different animals according to their race. Jews are mice, poles are pigs and germans are cats. This book is a great way to learn about the holocaust. Although it's a comic book, this book has many strong imagery that leaves the reader shocked.
