I can not do this book justice no matter how hard I try. I loved it though. It shows that when humans try to create perfection in an imperfect world things will collapse and chaos will arise. If you loved the Hunger Games you'll love this book. as I read the book I thought this is scary but I wasn't scared. Things are scary but there is difference between saying something is scary and something is scaring you. Frightening would probably be a better word. You have to overcome fear. There is no such thing as fearlessness but you can control fear. Tris was a strong character and I respected her determination. I also liked Four, especially his name. If anyone want to know, My Faction=Erudite (Without the evil taking control of the world with mindless human robots part.)

Finally a Chris Moore book that had a good ending. I liked this book very much and am excited to read Love Nun because Roberto the fruit bat is a pretty cool dude in Stupidest Angel, and im sure there is more about him in Love Nun.

I realy loved this book. It is one of those books that you can't put down and when you do its still on your mind. It was funny, sad, thought provoking, and meaningful. I could read this book again and again and still feel the same emotions that I did when I first read it. This is Ken Kesey's comment on society and what i beilve to be his best work.

i read this because i liked the lovely bones so much. but it was the biggest most horrible letdown ever. disturbing, boring and pointless.

Rollins has always provided me with an enjoyable monster yarn...until now. That isn't to say there is no supernatural, eerie happenings here, but certainly no bloodthirsty creatures either. Nonetheless, this first in what is called the Sigma series of books does have its moments. I liked the Painter Crowe character, and hope to see him in future pieces, but Dr. Omaha Dunn was a dud. The action was relentless, but fantastical (as to be expected with Rollins' work), but somehow none of the main characters died off. Usually Rollins sees to it that one of the good guys bites the dust. Maybe he is softening up.

I read the JD Robb story and the third one, both good stories. the other 2 didn't really grab me, so I just let them go. too many books to read and not enough time!

Entertaining read. Possibly more kinds of mental illness in 1 small group of people than in any other book I have ever read and yet I, unlike the characters, had a good time.

When I was reading The Raven Prince I found myself posting quotes from a prostitute named Coral Smythe. "I can get you a night with an accomplished male whore or a virginal schoolboy." Coral's eyes widened. "Famous libertines or ragpickers off the street. One very special man or ten complete strangers. Dark men, red men, yellow men, men you've only dreamed of in the black of night, lonely in your bed, snug under your covers. Whatever you long for. Whatever you desire. Whatever you crave. You have only to ask me." Oh, how Coral intrigued me. (Crap. Now I want to re-read The Raven Prince.) And how happy I was when my GR friend Rane (waves) told me about Coral's HEA on Elizabeth Hoyt's website. I was even happier when I found it on Amazon for kindle, because frankly I'd forgotten about it. But I digress. This story was excellent. The perfect way to give us Coral's HEA, nicely wrapped up in the form of Captain Isaac Wargate, who "wins" Coral for seven nights in a card game. One of the things I love the most about historical romances is that deliciously sinful bargains and wagers abound. Who wouldn't want the man you've craved for years to win you in a card game???? (*shivers*) Yum. We get a little bit of history, a whole lot of tension, and a believable story of how two people can fall in love over the space of a week. All wrapped up with an awesome happily ever after, course. Oh! And with another beautifully done fairy tale opening every chapter. Hoyt is a MASTER at this, and one of my favourite things about her. 4 stars.
