I read this the first time when I was in elementary school. I obviously didn't remember it at all. It was like reading a totally new book. I enjoyed it, enjoyed the moral lessons it taught, but wonder what would have happened to the book if it had been written today. It's definitely a classic, however, and something everyone should read.

I'm only 1/4 into this book but it really resonates with me. With all of the guru types I've been reading lately, this book speaks to me on a faith and spirituality level and from the standpoint of really wanting to do good things with the talents I've been given. It isn't the kind of book that comes with steps and methods. I'm really getting bored with all of that lately. The message is clear, surrender to love and all will work itself out. I'm being brief but I have to say that for me this has deep meaning for me in business and in my personal life. I'm enjoying it immensely.

More characters, and more plot. In my opinion martin is building up for something huge, but i just hope he doesn't go too far that he writes a check he can't cash. Worth a read, but you definitely need the background from the other 2 books.

This was an enjoyable novel that occasionally suffers from the rather annoying "it's so realistic/modern that it's going to try to floor you" formula. Most aspects of the plot are not very original, with the cheating wife (and accompanying sharp-witted child), college junkie past of the protagonist, etc. The most humorous bit I found in the book was Milo's reaction to the unicyclist that nearly nicks him in the park when he stumbled upon his wife picnicking with Paul.

Only read the Ilona Andrews novella, but I really liked. It's nice hearing about the big night that changed Kate life for ever, because Saiman is still part of her nightmares. He keep bothering her and helping her too, but most times he is responsible for the bad things that happen in this world. It was really nice watching Kate work as a bodyguard because she hates that kind of job and Saiman gives us a good idea why.
