Millie Brady unexpectedly befriends best-selling novelist Oral Hart the afternoon that Millie gets dumped. Orla, suffering from a writing slump after a scathing review of her latest novel, decides Millie is just what she needs to get her creative juices flowing again. She proposes an idea to Millie regarding her next novel, and makes an offer Millie can’t refuse. As the heroine of Orla’s next romance novel, Millie’s needs a man- or two or three- to spice up her love life. Millie’s Fling by Jill Mansell is light-hearted and comical. This novel follows all the chick lit guidelines, which made it a tad predictable, but there were some interesting plot twists to keep me on my toes. There was one major reason why I can’t say I love this book. For the first half, the story is told in Millie’s point of view- and only Millie’s. But then suddenly, everyone’s views were in the book! Orla, Millie’s mom, friend, and love interest, were all getting to speak their mind. I was thrown through a loop because I didn’t understand how suddenly I was out of Millie’s head, into Orla’s, then back out again. And there was nothing to break up the POV’s, not a new chapter or even a break in the story. The editor in me was screaming no, no, no!! If it wasn’t for that, I would have rated the book higher, but with conflicting POV’s I just couldn’t do it.

Another great read from James Patterson. Love love love Michael bennetts character and I'm hoping there will be more Bennett books in the future. Over all a quick read that I couldn't put down. James Patterson has cemented a place as one of my all time favorite authors

This book is pretty good. The series is amazing; this one just isn't the best one. Not the type of book I would normally read, but it pulls you in.

I enjoyed this book. Interesting characters, liked the turns and surprises. Strange but real pictures were really cool and the story was built around them.

The back description did not sound good but my husband picked it for me to read. I had a very hard time putting it down. As per usual Jodi Picoult, a controversial and thought provoking read.
One of my all time favorite girl fantasy series. Grades 4+

As a person who loves the concept ("Truth") of reality tunnels (read Tim Leary) this book struck home with me. It is a tale within a story about a film that never existed. It is a difficult read as the writing style is not like many books out in print. Take it as a challenge and give it a go. If you enjoy a good mental horror tale this could be a good book for you

This non-fiction book recounts the history of the development of the Haber-Bosch process for the first practical synthetic production of ammonia from nitrogen and hydrogen gas early in the 20th century. This was one of the principle pillars of the “Green Revolution” in agriculture allowing mass production of nitrate fertilizer. The emphasis is on the two Germans, Fritz Haber and Carl Bosch who invented the process and saw it through to industrialization. Both men are controversial figures for their part in German industry during WWI, Haber in particular for his pioneering work in developing poison gases for that war. Available as ebook.
