Strangely like watching Lost - which I stopped watching when it just got ridiculous. Not enough God in it to really be a Christian fiction. God seemed like an afterthought. Weird. Would not recommend but it wasn't awful. I kept reading it to see how it resolved.

Can't remember too much about the book, just that I laughed and enjoyed it immensely.
Okay....this is who I would be if I had a penis, no morals and no family structure. I thought this book was hilarious!!! Truly a forage into the mind of the horny guy. Though Tucker is in his late twenties I do not put any of the things he does past any man 30 - 40 years of age. Or at least any that I know of...seriously some of these stories remind me of my closest guy friends. It's great, deliciously crude and hiliariously sexist and if I met this guy and he wasn't blong I'd prob go for him...I'm not attracted to blond guys. Also...he probably has a dirty penis.

Probably one of my favorite of the series. Many Waters was L'Engle taking a rather different approach to telling the story of the Murrys, and even did it in the perspective of Sandy and Dennys as opposed to Meg and Charles Wallace. I had been looking forward to the book because it would involve the twins much more than the books usually did. The twins weren't the only differences in the book, however. Even with the two instances of a tesseracting occurrence, the traveling didn't get very far. For once the story occurred in the same time period, the same mass of land, only the perspectives switching from one twin to the next, and then to Yalith, another important character. Yet so much happened in the story, and I was only sorry that the twins couldn't exactly stay til the very end to see how it goes. It was an interesting version of the telling of Noah and the flood. Much more interesting that the Murry twins were learning their lessons and doing their deeds, heh.

Okay so I'm cheating...I actually read "Prayer and the Art of Volkswagon Maintenance" but it is out of print so I can't add it. Donald Miller signed with a new publisher and republished this book under its new title "Through Painted Deserts." It is incredible.

This one starts slow, but once you get into it, the facts about the sheer size of the Worlds Fair in Chicago are fascinating, and there's a little bit of murder mystery to go along with it.

A very engaging story about love and family and relationships. Author clearly draws readers into her love story and well-written characters. Funny and heart-breaking and very easy to see oneself in each character! Great read!

Good book that explores a woman's introduction to the BDSM lifestyle. Lauren has recently returned from Iraq and is suffering from PTSD. John is a vet who has mostly recovered from his military service. This couple seem right for each other from the beginning but they have to learn about themselves and one another to find their HEA.
