Wherever you go is Heather Davis third book and one that I really wanted to read so I was super excited to have got an ARC. All that being said I read her first book "don't cry werewolf" and didn't really enjoy it so was hoping for a much better read and i'm very happy to say Wherever you go is one emontionally packed novel with an outstanding plot and has been beautifuly writen. Wherever you go is told from the POV of the three main chacarters Holly,Jason and Rob. Holly is still trying to cope with the death of her boyfriend Rob while also looking after her kid sister as there mum works two jobs. As Holly's grandad Aldo gets to sick to live by himself he has to move in with them so now it falls on Holly again to be the adult/mum and help look after him aswell. I just could help but feel so sorry for her because of his you just want her to at least have some time to be a teenager. As Aldo spends time with Holly he tells her that a boy named Rob is talking to him but Holly does not believe that it is Rob's ghost and thinks it's Aldo's Alzheimers making him see things that are not there. I loved the Aldo and the relonship that him and Holly share with each other. Aldo ask for her help to remmeber a list he has made of all the things that have a special place in his heart. As Holly starts the list she tells only one other person about it Rob's best friend Jason he then agrees to help her and Aldo complete the list. Holly and Jason grow closer while doing the list and was so touching reading about them I couldn't help but want them to be together. Rob gets very jealous of the two of them spending time with each other and I really do feel for him as he watches his best friend and girlfriend but sometimes his POV just got on my nerves. Wherever you go is a great read with topics of death/depression/second chances with a amazing love story rolled into it and a book that will stay with me for a very long time to come. I look forward to whatever Heather Davis writes next. Favourite Quotes 1= When you grow older, you love again, and the new love feels so different that the love before feels like make-belive. The way you love changes throughout your life. Even the way you love the same person changes." 2=" All of it washed away in a tidal wave of love you see rushing towards her shore" 3= " You try to radiate your feeling because there are things you know that you want get the chance to say"

Loved this. A great (very funny) book for 9–11 year olds.

#16 for Amelia....flash back! The first of the "Lost Years," it also returns us to a "lost" place. A few niggling questions are answered, too.

Not my favorite of the series but nonetheless a nice, warm holiday story. I do adore Denny and Becca and will hope to see them again in later books for an update on them. As always, I love revisits with Jack and Preacher, who keep reminding me why I fell in love with a little mountain town called Virgin River.

Evie Thompson is a woman who knows what she wants and feels free to speak her mind. Evie heads to Hope Falls to establish a logging company and find her, her sister, and cousin a husband. Putting an ad in the paper for a husband draws more attention than what the women had planned. Now they must rely on some of the husband prospects to keep them safe. Including one Jake Creed who has a secret. Seeking vengeance for his brother's death, Jake finds himself intrigued by Evie's boldness. But will he be able to set that aside to continue looking for his brother's killer? I liked the boldness and independence of the women, something not too common in those times. I enjoyed the humor between Evie and Jake. I liked the mystery in figuring out who Jake was looking for and if he would be able to figure it out before it was too late. I didn't like all the characters. For me, it was just too confusing. With the four women, the kind-of-sort-of ex-fiance, Jake, and all the prospects, then Jake's hires - I just couldn't keep them all straight. About 2/3 of the way through I think I finally had them all straight in my head. After that point I was able to enjoy the remainder of the story because I wasn't trying to remember who was who. I think this would have been easier for me to watch in a movie format just because of all the characters. I did enjoy the story and would recommend it to others, it just wasn't my favorite because of all the characters.

This definitely made up for how hard of a read A Feast For Crows was. Tore through this one. We need the next volume already.

** spoiler alert ** Maybe more like 2.8 because I liked it a little bit. I'm not a big fan of time travel, but this is one of the first books that made the concept make sense to me. I enjoyed the characters and the flow of the story. The way it kept going back and weaving into itself was very well done. What I didn't like was the weird relationship with Gomez, especially that part after Henry died, and the some of the slang/swearing seemed unnecessary and out of character, especially for Clare. All in all a good book, but I won't be insisting anyone read it.

Benito Cereno is a novella with a very strange form. It begins with narration from the point of view of Captain Delano, an American out at sea who comes upon the stranded ship of Captain Benito Cereno. Cereno tells him that the ship has been struck by disease and the bad luck of calm seas, but something strange is going on. The mystery of the plot is offset by the abrupt switches in point of view, from a first person narration of the events to an official record of the events. Despite this, it's definitely worth reading.

在阅读了L'Engle的其他书籍后,这本书更加令人耳目一新。 它不包含其他一些人之间的沉重性关系。 这是一本关于友谊和学习克服生活中挑战的好书。
