I didn't think I would enjoy this when I was required to read it this year but it was surprisingly captivating. I think it is a good work to read for the history of it as much as for its literary value.

I was expecting to hate this book, but, as far as self-improvement/office-improvement books go, it wasn't too bad. Definitely not appropriate for the school I work in now (very happy, positive environment already), but was a great tool for me for reflecting on previous teaching experiences.

Instead, there is a lot of description of the work of leading members of the medical field. The lives of the scientists and doctors seemed less compelling than than patients might have been.

I usually like Maeve's books and this one was entertaining, but a little light on the plot. I have liked some of her other ones better. Still, worth the time if you like Binchy.

This was good. I enjoyed it and Tyson was a good twist.I'm still sad Luke's gone dark side but what can you do? I also really liked the water horses and the many pegasuses. :D

John Gardner's slightly askew fairy tales are amazing. They are funny and creepy and they stay with you. I've been searching for a new edition of this since I lost the battered copy I had as a kid.

I don’t know what prompted me to read this book but I did. Yes, she’s funny, not laugh out loud funny but funny nonetheless. Entertaining, sure. Would I recommend it to a friend, I don’t think so.
