It took me a few days to read first 80 pages. I kept trying to read it and then putting it down and later pick up. I realized that it was confusing and i did not care for the characters and did not want to know what happens next. Mathew is dead. He supposed to give problems so people can overcome them grow. first he gets a priest at a wedding to go tell her he loves her whem mathew finds him crying in bathroom. it just seamed like they made people drink, cheat mostly bad ideas. It was hard to follow. they got paid for how much they got people to do. I do agree with the idea problems can help us to grow. I was given the book through goodreads in exchange of review.

Hard to believe and to relate to in some places, but too interesting and original a piece of writing to skip. The ideals of the fifties come through in the writing and a lot of them are still relevant today. Thought provoking, sure, but conversation-starting also.

Headbutler.com posted a great review which echoes my thoughts: "Read “Columbine” for the stunning reportage. Admire the heroism of students and teachers. Forgive, if you can, the police ineptitude and, later, their predictable cover-up. But pay particular attention to the back story: the evolution of two would-be mass murderers. And then, instead of feeling blessed that this nightmare didn't happen in your town, you might do better to ask yourself a variation of the line you hear on television at ten o'clock: Do you know who your children are?" --- by Jesse Kornbluth, for HeadButler.com Complete review: http://www.headbutler.com/books/colum...

A terrific book about an orphaned German girl during WWII. Owen's comment (and it is so much fun to share books with him now): "sad, depressing, dreadful, but at the same time captivating, joyful, hopeful and happy." That pretty much nails it. Plus it offers an excellent tutorial in German curse words.

Fascinating, moving insight into the early life of Patti Smith, her relationship with Robert Mapplethorpe and the development of her art. It's made me want to read poetry, listen to music and create, a wonderful book.

According to my list, The Private Patient is the last of the Dalgleisch novels (although I will check). It follows that attractive formula James has practiced through fourteen other books, a technique that is so familiar by now but still works enchantingly well.

El audio es bastante horrible. Voz molesta. En general, "el secreto" es un buen concepto, algo a tener en cuenta para hacer que mi vida sea mejor y más gratificante.
