I really loved this book if you are into action/ adventure, romance, and a page turner!

Recommended by my grandmother, Interesting but not a book I would have chosen myself. Also not a book I would go out of my way to find or read... a bit of a "meh"-book.

I didn't have an imaginary friend but if I did I would like it to be Michael. He would be everything to me.

This is another quick easy read that indulges my James Patterson habit. His books and writing style I find to be page turners, often a bit too "bloody" but usually with redeeming conclusions. This Michael Bennett NYPD detective, single dad of ten, hero story is no exception.I enjoyed it!
"Othello" (or The black man's Hamlet) is not as philosophical as the story of the Danish prince or as cosmic as the tragedy of Lear but it is a searing love story full of the Bard's greatest poetry. It is a mazing how you are made to feel so strongly for Othello and Iago at the same time. A masterpiece.

The information in this book could probably be condensed in 10 pages. Or rather, it was probably a 10 page booklet expanded into a long and boring book. There are a couple of interesting advices and techniques at the beginning but then there's a lot of "I was worrying and feeling bad, I saw God, I stopped worrying and started feeling better". Towards the end was so full of religious non-sense it was disgusting.

I bought this book after visiting the Holocoust museum in DC. Until then, I didn't know (and wouldn't have thought) there were Jewish soldiers in the Nazi Army. This was an eye-opening book, which I am glad to have read.

A great tale of crisis, the insanity that plagues us all, and how cynicism effects the world, as seen through an adolescents eyes. Holden is mesmerizing. I love how you can identify with him so easily, but some of his musings can be unnerving, leaving you to wonder about your own sanity in this mad world.

so far... it's ok. the backstory of the taj mahal made somewhat more boring. it's told through the viewpoint of the emperor's daughter- would have have preferred the queen but that's just me. still- it's a book about the Mughul Empire in India- can't beat that. So I will stick it out. It might just take me a while.
