I liked this one. There were 3 different stories in this book, but it was constantly entertaining. We get to revisit Ramses under cover personality, and see he and Nefret as a couple. Sethos also makes a grand appearance. All in all, it was terrific.

The 1st of the series was intruiging, being Irish myself, was good to see an Irish spy. Other than that I loved this series. Just like J.K Rowling magical creatures where not the usual stereotype, they fitted into our world another and more mature way. Artemis Fowl is genius. With every story I like to make connections that are not blatantly obvious and make us want to read on. High paced with every page, Artemis's struggle with his own cold personality. his intilligence, fighting with wanting to have what every normal kid has. Means that the reader can never predict for certain what may and may not happen and this in turn makes Artemis Fowl an intriuging read.

Another in the series involving Joe Pickett Wyoming game warden. This story again revolves around Pickett , his family, and the corrupt sheriff as they deal with animal mutilations and then then two humans as well. The tense relationship between Joe and the sheriff escalates. There are many twists,turns, and complications in this story with some surprises. Thought it is the best of the Pickett novels I have read so far.

Tea: What a pleasant surprise Overall a really wonderful true story, filled with little jewels. The story follows a woman through her health challenge, starting on day one, what happened to her, how she dealt with it, and what actions she decided (along with supportive family and friends) to take to overcome it. What I love about this story so much, is here is this seemingly ordinary older woman, who decides she's just not going to accept her prognosis, and be defeated by it. She's not famous, she's doesn't have super powers. She's just an ordinary woman who stood in the face of destruction, and shook her withered hand at it and said "NO". It's a perfect story not only for anyone dealing with a health challenge, but also for anyone who has a challenge of any kind in their life, and they need a little inspiration from someone who has been combat tested (not in war but in her own life with her health). Going through tough times, changes you, it changes how you see yourself. For me, the real jewel of this book, is all the exercises she included at the end of the book, that she's used to help reclaim her health. You don't find that in a lot of books. My only few issues are, I think the price is a little high for a paperback, and it would have been better to include the national association's websites instead of individual practitioner's. Then it would be easier for those reader's who are interested to find their own doctor's or therapist's in their own areas, since we all don't live in California, nor do we all have the means to fly out there for therapy.

clearly a classic and deserving of that status. still, i didn't "like" it. i read it with interest and was impressed by it as writing. but it was so bleak and flat. you should read it because it is worth studying... but it left me feeling alone and emotionless.
