I actually don't read vampire book. Well, I guess that's the risk (or good thing) of working in a bookshop. I've got curious about this book because of our loyal customer is so totally into this vampire things. When we got 'Pandora' on our list, we called her and she told that she got the book. So I put the book on the shelf to be sold. After a week, no one seem to buy the book and every time I check on the shelf I've grown overly curious about this book, so I end up borrowing the book from the shop and read it before going to bed. To my surprise this book has caught me! What makes this vampire book interesting is main character, I've always fallin' in love with this strong woman character, plus the setting is in ancient Roman empire. I just love it!

I absolutely loved this book. It is a very common sense approach to food and eating. The book is very informative and sheds light on the myths and facts associated with different types of fad diets, the food we eat and try to avoid.

Kafner's interesting and engaging biography of my favorite actor is admiring, respectful and often affectionate, but I would have liked more backstory on Bogie's most important films and more detail on his personal life once he became an A-list star with High Sierra and The Maltese Falcon. This is a fine look at the actor's life and work but anyone wanting a more insightful and in-depth study should look elsewhere.

Sorry to all that liked this book but..... It's a big long book about nothing and the annoying elitist group of so called poets/writers that have too much time on their hands. I guess I can only compare the characters to ironic hipsters. Annoying to see and even worse to know. Maybe this is what Roberto was going for when he sat down to write this novel? But I find that hard to believe, I mean who sits down and says "hmmm how do I write a hugely boring book about twits so that other twits can say they read it and now are far superior for having read it?" as you can tell I don't have a definitive opinion on this book so good luck.

I love reading this and knowing that no matter how hard Rose and Dimitri try they will be together. They can't hide their love forever

I love rading this book. My favrite charecter would hare to be kaytliyn. SHe is qoquite peice of work. Any one with a brain could tell there was some attraction betweeen her and Gabriel. ALl through the book I had high hopes for them. I wantted her to get over her "relationship" with Rob. ROb isnt Gabriel. Gabriel just has that appeal. Ob is a goody toshoes. I dont even think ROb can hande Kaite. I know for certain Gabreil could.Gabreil si head over heals for Kait.I am not saying ROb doesnt its jut that Gabriel...and Kait just click. They have that atomatic connection. In the 3rd part the PASSION all my drams came true. SHe and Gabreil finally got together. I might have started out as lie but it ended up much more. Gabriel showed Kait how much he lived her by hurtung himself to stay in tune to her. I am also happy that ROb dint get hurt either. HE and ANNA go to geter. I think those two make a cute couple. BOth good kinds,

I compare this to a drunken one night stand : I don't remember much about it except that it was pretty good.

I enjoyed this book on so many levels. For one thing, it has such a current feel to it, every once in a while a dated detail would startle me and remind me when it was written. I loved the character of Matthew Scudder and will definitely read more of him. He's a very interesting mixture of black, white, and gray areas. I'd like to get to know him better. The crime itself and the ensuing investigation have a strange tone. It has a hopeless ring to it, a last gasp sort of feel. A kind of "striking out blindly at darkness." And so does Scudder. You feel that he's done, that he's just going through the motions. And yet he feels strongly enough to take decisive action. It really makes you wonder what he was like before, as a cop.

Really loved these short stories. Very sweet and enjoyable. Loved Lisa Klepas' story "Promises", it had Derek Craven in it and I really want to read his story now. If you love any of these authors I recommend this book.
