Pleasant enough weekend reading. Nothing special but also not annoying.

Also loved this one. It's about two sisters who share the same shoe size but not much of anything else.

This book was awful and slow. I would have at least been happy with a solidly fascinating ending except that (spoiler alert) a random guess is what helps him regain his visibility, not his super scientist dad or anything like that. No, just a, "Well why don't you just do what you did to make you invisible and maybe then you'll reverse it." I developed no sympathy or love for the characters nor for their situations. Frindle was a hilarious book hard to believe this is the same author. He should probably stick to what's funny.

this book wasn't quite as exciting as snow crash or cryptonomicon, but it was still entertaining. the idea of a book which is actually a very complicated form of artificial intelligence, which binds with its owner and teaches it how to deal with the real world. as all neal stephenson books go, it is full of references to cyberspace, computers, and hacking. But since it's from his early days, it is complete with his descriptive gory scenes, including one where a character is blown to pieces from the inside (oh my gosh!)
Another comprehensive history by McCullough. Everything you could possibly want to know about the bridge. Nothing changes. Sad to hear the amount of grief Roebling had to endure by people who wanted to exploit the bridge to make money. The bridge is magnificent and it's great he got to see it through to the end.

ah yes... seeing the cover on this website reminded me that I want to hunt for my copy which is probably hidden deep inside a moving box I failed to unpack. Need to read it again. the tolerance for all religions, people and creatures as demonstrated in this book was so refreshing. I am thinking of sending G.W. Bush a copy...

What an incredible cliffhanger! I won't offer too many spoilers but "Hunt the Moon" is another great part of the Cassie Palmer series. Plenty of great action, humor, and great tension between Cassie and her two love interests. Oh, the ending! I need a new book soon but will have to wait a long while!

Pretty pissed when it ended, as I LOVE Ayn Rand, and I'm used to very long novels from her (The Fountainhead, Atlas Shrugged). Painted a pretty disturbing view

Really in depth coverage of the beginnings of WWI. I learned a ton of new information. Only for the true fans of WWI - I had to skim some parts (so much information to take in).

Very readable...at least the first book ("Lost Secrets")is. This, like a lot of Hall's books, is most probably something one would recommend to a newly initiated Freemason.
