It was pretty interesting. It wasn't too easy to figure out what was going on and it wasn't too far from reality to imagine happening, so that was good. The small "romance" they throw in at the end is a little annoying, but overall, it was a good book.

This one took me FOREVER to read. It started out to be extremely interesting and seemed like it was going to be GREAT...and then it went nowhere fast. When I finally finshed it I felt like I really didn't know too much more than I had when I started. If you enjoy native american/frontier history and are interested in reading about the trail of tears, this book paints an interesting picture of it. But it's a SLOW read.

What can I say about this book, disappointing! I couldn't get into it and so it took me ages to finish. It was way to vague and again disappointing. I continued to read it because I kept thinking it would get better but it didn't. The thing is I might have to read the next book in this series, even though I really didn't enjoy it, because towards the very end it seemed as if it could have potential.

Betrayed is the second in a series of House of Night. Zoey is now dating Erik but is finding interest in maybe a few other boys still in her life. She also is dealing with some suspicous murders where all the evidence suggests vampires and possibly her. As you can guess by the title she is betrayed and now she must solve the mystery of the disapperaing jocks. All while dealing with everyday life of being a teenager who has amazing powers. At first I was dissapointed in this book. I was surprised and annoyed by Zoey's shallowness and imaturity of being interested in so many boys at once. It seemed typical of annoying teenage girls today and everything in the plot seemed expected. But, it soon took a turn for the better. Zoey matures and deals with some heart breaking situations where I found myself tearing up.
