Kingdom Come could be about pretty much anything, and it would get a good review solely on the strength of its artwork. It's that good. Alex Ross is the best in the business, and his watercolors bring the story to life. About that story: Kingdom Come is set in an alternate future in which the Golden Age heroes have more or less retired, and are replaced by anti-heroes, only to have the Golden Age Justice League come back and attempt to re-establish order. The book primarily explores the subject of whether Superman's do-gooding boy scout-like morality can work in a morally ambiguous world. Unfortunately, the story is rushed, its (very interesting) themes are never fully developed, and the ending doesn't really make a tremendous amount of sense. Nevertheless, the quick pacing of the story will make for a satisfying read, and the artwork really is spectacular.

This is a brilliant crime-mystery novel. The plot is fast paced and addictive, you can see the characters development and you want to meet them! I found the clairvoyant character (based on the author) fascinating. Highly recommended!

My Funny Family Saves the Day Thư viện Sách hướng dẫn

This book was well written and had characters that were well rounded. they all had a distinct personality, habits, etc. One childs name was Gasman, for example, because of his tendancy to fart a lot. This book is about a group of young people who escaped from an institude call "The School" where they were experimented on. They are hybrids, half birds and half humans. Or it may be 80% human and 20% bird, I dont know.So they escape and find refuge with Jeb in the mountains. But then Jeb leaves them and they are by themselves. Erasers, which are half humans half wolves, come to their mountain home to capture them, but only capture Angel. They have to get her back. So like I said earlier the characters each have a distinct personality and quirks. The main character, Max, is the leader of the "flock", and has motherly feelings for all of them. Fang who is a little younger than her is like the emo one of the group, his personality is reflected with his black wings. Nudge is 9 and talks all the time, and has untapped reserves of energy. Like I said before the Gasman is gassy. Iggy was blinded in an attempt to give him night vision, so he has no sight but his other senses are supurb. Angel is the youngest, she is the Gasmans brother and is everyones "Angel". ( hence her name and wings ) All in all a good book and i definately recomend it.
