What did I learn??? That I don't need closure at the end of a book but somekind of ending is a must. Reading email exchanges in a book is terrible.

Absolutely Amazing! I really know the characters. Deas's writing had me wanting more and more. I thoroughly enjoy the enternal battle I'm having, trying to decide if I like Jehal or not. He does what he wants, but I'm still convinced he really does want to be with Lystra. He'll figure it out. As for Kemir, I just want happiness for him. I hope he finds a girl to fall in love with. I'd approve of that. Jaslyn needs a man. See. I'm already so caught up in these characters. If you're a fan of exciting events, dragons, and amazing characterization, I suggest you read The Adamantine Palace. I just bought The King of the Crags on my Nook. I'm ready to continue this amazing story. Also, if you're a fan of Brent Weeks, you'll enjoy this book.

Eh, when you work at a fashion mag, you know how real this is. I don't think the author knew how to more than describe a horrific boss and equally addictive and disgusting work environment.

A well told science fiction romance where the romance forms part of the philosophical discussion of what makes us human.

I know that DeLillo is a master craftsman and the beauty and horror of 9/11 pervade the sentences and the lives captured in this book. However, maybe I've not yet read enough DeLillo to spy a great work, but having recently come off of white noise I was a little disappointed in this book.

I never think that I'll read this novel. But my beloved (?) lecturer asked me to read this. First, I dun like this novel. But, as many pages that I've read, I can feel that, this is life indeed. School, studying, friendships, rules etc are told completely here. Well, this story tells us that life can be easy if we try hard. Actually, I like this story. It shows me that I Can reach sth if I can do sth too. For you who want to know more about lives in pesantren, try to read this. I'm sure u'll get the point.. Although I know, not every pesanteran is like this. Everything is different indeed.. :) happy reading

Nice book. I wish there were more pictures. This cookbook is arranged so that each entree is coupled with a side and dessert. I really like that since as a vegetarian the grain is usually a main course and I have a hard time coming up with a good side.

Unfortunately my copy of this book doesn't include the extra stories so I only had the pleasure of reading the main story. The first section of the story reminded me of Jeff Noon's Vurt or Pollen, it was rife with fantasy lingo and extreme future concepts and frankly very confusing. The 2nd section was more somber and creepy and then the last section (my favorite) was a surreal, horror-filled quest/adventure (akin to China Mieville's Perdido Street Station) The mix of atmosphere's and writing styles worked for me. I enjoyed Vandermeer's City of Saints and Madmen and I would say this is on par with that in creativity and originality.

This was an interesting book to read and good to see other peoples' perspective on life.
This is the account of one of the world's best con-artists, Steven Russell, who escaped from jail (including my own Harris County jail) numerous times! The book could've been longer but all in all a good read. Soon to be a movie, I hear.
estaba realmente entusiasmado con esto, terminó un poco decepcionado y me gustó más el zorro. Creo que tengo que volver y leerlo de nuevo.
