Loved it, can't wait to read the next one! I thought that the book started out kind of slow, but then I really got into and really enjoyed it. There were definitely some twists I didn't see coming and I liked that I was surprised. The alternate past and the setting in London was a lot of fun, even though Tiki and her friends were poor orphans. I realize that they had to pickpocket to live, but I really enjoyed seeing how they pulled it off and what they could get. I felt so bad for their situation though, I see why Tiki became the motherly figure. I loved the concept of the book, the plot and the addition of the super creepy faeries! Tiki was a great MC, I loved that she took care of herself and the others at such a young age. Her situation in life has been horrible, but she hasn't let that break her down. I also liked her chemistry with the other orphans and how they cared for each other. Getting to see Tiki learn to fight and create disguises was a lot of fun. I was suspicious of Rieker at first because it was hard to tell what his motives were. I ended up really liking him later on. There were some great twists with him in this book as well as great scenes with Tiki. Prince Leopold is a little creepy and am interested to see what will happen with him in the next end. The end of the book wasn't too much of a cliffhanger, but I really want to know more. Overall I really loved this book and I can't wait for the next one! I recommend it!

I think this might be my Favorite Tom Clancy book by far. Mostly because you get to see a recurring character fro other novels make his start, no matter how sad and polluted it is. And you watch what he is willing to do for a woman he loved for even a short time. Now think about how lethal he would be to the rest of the world. It is all a matter of how you look at it. If we could act on our own soil, the drug trade would have been done years ago, so would the trade of people. Just THINK about it.
