This is seriously one of the funniest Kurt Vonnegut books I've ever read. It has pictures in it that Vonnegut himself drew and the commentary that accompanies those pictures is absolutely hilarious. I totally recommend this book to all Vonnegut lovers and people who are interested in Vonnegut should start with this book!

i wasn't sure i was going to like but i absolutely did. i could hear her southern drawl. got a few new books on my to-read list from her book. can see how fascinating being in the white house is & liked her demonstrations of faith & hospitality while they were in the white house. had no idea how rigorous even her schedule was a first lady.

I bought this for my new gadget (an e-reader) and was a little pessimistic because it was 1000+ pages. But I got totally sucked in and found myself getting emotionally involved in finishing this book. I read it every free moment of time for a solid week to finish it. And it was phenomenal! I have read several Stephen King books, every since I was a teenager (I'm pushing 40 now) and I just LOVE the way he creates characters and builds them to a point where I can just about close my eyes and see the people in the book. Under The Dome is no different. The characters are palpable in a way that no other author has ever been able to do.
