Fun, light reading. Of the three friends, I had the most problems believing Ellie's story and thought Leslie's story was the most realistic. Liked this book better than the only other Jude Deveraux book I've read - Forever and Always.

Young Love strongly recommended that I read this, and when I finally did, I could see why. I loved Audrey, and while sometimes the teenager in her drives me nuts, I still loved her. This book was quick and easy and fun!

Anthologies of world poetry are tricky, especially when 80% of the original poems are not written in English. It would be too much to ask to see the original of each poem, in such a large undertaking. However, some very fine translators are represented. Each section, divided into time periods and cultures, has a helpful, if minimal introduction.

مزخرف ترين كتابي كه ميشه براي سن 16 تا 18 نوشت! يادمه اونموقع خيلي اين كتاب جالب و بحث برانگيز (!) بود تازه يه نويسنده مرد ديگه اسمش هم حتي يادم نيست اومده بود يه كتاب در جواب اين كتاب نوشته بود از زبون پسره كه بعله آقا يهطرفه به قاضي نرين پاي حرفهاي پسره هم بشينين و يه مشت جفنگ سر هم كرده بود بنام مهتاب خمار؟؟؟ يه همچين چيزي.... اما شعر معروف سعدي كه حال دل با تو گفتنم هوس است...خبر دل شنفتنم هوس است....طمع خام بين و قصه فاش...از رقيبان شنفتنم هوس است... و ....بلاخره شب شراب نيرزد به بامدار خمار! به نظر شما شب شراب بيرزد به بامداد خمار يا نيرزد؟! من كه مي گفتم بيرزد چون اگر نمي ارزيد كه با خماري صبح، شب شراب ديگه اي وجود نداشت؛ اگه انقدر خماريش بد بود! اما روزي از يه نفر پرسيدم جواب قشنگي داد. گفت اگه شرابش واقعاً شراب باشه، تفاله شراب نباشه...بيرزد، والا نيرزد واقعاً نيرزد....ديدم راست ميگه! شما چي فكر ميكنين؟

This is one of the best novels I have read in my life. It is written brilliantly and captures the attention of the reader to such an extent that unless you finish the novel, and re-read it you would not want to do anything else.

This book should be read by everyone who eats. As with Glassner's previous THE CULTURE OF FEAR, this book adjusted my cultural perspective. If you've ever eaten, been tempted to eat, or not eaten something because "it isn't good for you," then think again. Glassner is a powerful and persuasive writer and boy does he do the research. Read it and you'll know what Glassner means by the "gospel of naught," "nutritional imperialism," and "dietary idealists." Really, a very cool read.

I found this book a little slower than Kate Morton's other novels at the beginning, but I thought it more than made up for that in the end. I am amazed at how well-developed the characters are in Kate Morton's novels. I also love her writing style and the types of stories she tells. I'd highly recommend any of her books.
