Very good book, with excellent pictures. Some good information about the breeds that it covers, including many that are good for milking. One negative, is that it really seems to focus on breeds from Great Britain.

The best of the Twilight books. Totaly gripping. It will give you butterflys as it allows you to be sucked in and see, right out of the charicters eyes.

The characters in this book are alive--well, they should be, even if they're actually dead. (And it never hurts to throw a Scottish accent in there. Just sayin'.) How do I sum up this book? As fun as it was, the first part of it had me wondering if the entire book was going to be spent jumping from memories to recreations of worlds. Yes, I understand that we were getting background on the characters, and learning about what kind of people they are. And the author showed great research in her portrayal of the different eras and experiences. Still, I wished Lindsey and Aiden would settle into place a bit. And then, they did. Once the characters settle into the cabin, I felt I could appreciate the story more. Once Lindsey and Aiden were separated, I felt the urgency of the book, trying to figure out how things would work out. I admit, I've been waffling for a few days on how to rate this book.

This book was really pretty good and I learned a lot from it, but the fact that it is getting quite old and parts of the book are a bit drawn out decreased the score for me personally.
LOVE this book! LOVE the movie! Fabulous! Everyone should read it!
I read this book because the author is in my writing group. I thought I would be nice. Turns out to be a good book! I enjoyed it. Rossman has a very richly imagined/thought-out world and characters. Definitely worth the read...

Wonderful book about the true story of an old man dying of ALS teaching a younger man about important life subjects. The deep meaning of life that many people have lost due to our society. I cried at the end of the book...
This was pretty good. It definately made me want to study more about the Salem witch trials. I would love to see it performed.
