A great shortened version of the novel, but missing quite a few of the action scenes from the book...especially my favorites with Medusa and the theme park. It follows the movie more than the book I think...another reason I only gave it 3, rather than, 4 stars. But it's a great read for those not ready for the full novel.

I just finished taking a class on this translation of the Bhagavad Gita, and it was pretty good. Contrary to popular belief, this book isn't specific to the Hindu religion--it's about yoga. Also contrary to popular belief, yoga isn't about putting your foot behind your head.

A decent enough first read for the field, I blew through it in one afternoon. I liked it enough to check out the next book at least.

Chick lit as macho memoir. I'd rather have reread "A Million Little Pieces." It reminded me of the Lord of the Rings trilogy or Blue Man Group, and how everyone kept saying I'd love it love it love it. Guess what? They were wrong wrong wrong, as usual usual usual.

It's been a while since I read this book, although I consider it one of my favorites. About a dystopia where firemen create fires to burn books. Books have ideas, ideas are bad etc. The heroes in these books are always so inspiring. WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD!

My favorite play of all time. I've been in two productions of it. Once I played the baby that got dropped out a window (I made cooing sounds offstage) and the other time I played "Lady in Red" the one who had her baby pitched out the window.
You don't have to give a shit about the Stones to enjoy this book, which is about the Stones the same way that Moby-Dick is about a fish.
One of the first Koontz I ever read and also one of my favorites. His stories that have animals in them truly come to life for me and the ones in this book are unforgettable. This was made into a B movie, but works of his depth could not possibly be satisfactorily put into such a shallow medium which much success.
when alicia's cuzin nina comes and destroys everyones relationship massie the true "alpha" is ready to make her sorry
Being a Gen-Xer myself, Tulgan appears to be spot on in several of his discussions about what makes us tick and what can make us explode. Great for anyone wanting to get a handle on some of the generational differences between Xers and non-Xers at the workplace, finding a mutually beneficial balance for all involved.
