Peter Hamilton is a great "describer" but not such a great story teller. The narrative is tedious. The action is almost non-existent, and the plot is taking a long time to develop. Boring. I don't think I will even be able to finish it.

her first book is really good her second you kind of realize that she is truely just complaining ALL the time and it gets annoying. i can never tell which is the first adn which is not. the story should have more of a twist to it.

This book was not as easy to get into as most of Lawhead's books, but once I did get into it I grew to love Will Scarlet. I am looking forward reading the next book in the series.

I didn't start this book with much enthusiasm or the best attitude and the slow pace didn't help, but in time the story line picked up and I found myself genuinely interested. I'm glad I learned a little about the differences in some of the Jewish sects and a rough overview of the history and migration of their people. It's fascinating to me that there can be so much prejudice and harsh judgments within our own religious groups. I really liked the main character, Reuven. He sure seemed to be well-grounded and dealt responsibly and maturely with the experiences he faced.
